Vijender Singh: The pugilist-turned pro, the first Indian Olympic medal winner boxer, married software engineer Archana Singh when he returned from the Arafura Games in Australia in 2011. Now, his wife reportedly can’t bear to see him take the punches!

Yogeshwar Dutt: When he came home to a rapturous welcome after the 2012 London Olympics, Yogi’s mom, a heart patient, announced in his village that his son was ready to get married. Earlier this year, he said he’d fulfil his mother’s long-cherished wish after he returns from Rio. As suspense grows over the changing colour of his upgraded medal, fans are also speculating if his marital status will change.

Sushil Kumar: After bagging a gold in the Delhi Commonwealth Games 2010, the two-time Olympic medal winner announced his engagement with Savi, the daughter of his coach. The couple married a few months later and are now proud parents to twin boys.

Last heard, notwithstanding his sexcapades, even Usain Bolt is contemplating domesticity. Come on Usain! We know you love your cricket back in the Caribbean, but couldn’t you have timed your drive better and kept your wicket intact?
