Rupee flat against US dollar ahead of RBI monetary policy

The rupee ended flat against the US dollar on Tuesday, amid caution ahead of RBI’s policy decision on Wednesday.
The rupee closed 3 paise lower against the US dollar at 67.14.
Forex dealers said increased demand for the US currency from importers as also the greenback’s gains against rivals overseas put pressure on the rupee.
On Monday, the rupee had ended 5 paise lower at 67.11 against the US dollar.
