Tata group entities team up with world’s top universities

NEW DELHI: Tata group firms, such as Tata Sons, Tata Consultancy Services and Jaguar Land Rover, have signed agreements with the world’s leading academic institutions, including Harvard University, to fund R&D opportunities. Tata Chemicals, Tata Communications and Tata Steel have also forged similar collaborations with the Yale University (US), IIT Madras and the Royal Society (UK). “The financial support, exceeding $25 million, will be spread over time,” the group said.
