Software developer Microsoft, worth 45.8 billion dollars, was ranked third while IBM, worth 39.1 billion dollars stood fourth in the list, The Sun reports.
Walmart, worth 38.3 billion dollars, and Samsung, worth 38.2 billion dollars occupied fifth and sixth positions respectively.
General Electrics (GE), Coca-cola, Vodafone and Amazon occupied the next four positions.
