Bajaj assembles Ninja series at its Chakan plant and distributes it through its motorcycle retail chain — Probiking.
In two years, Bajaj’s 32 Probiking outlets sold 1,500 units of Ninja 250R.
For Ninja 650R, Bajaj is eying a market in the middle segment of premium bikes, in the Rs 3-8 lakh category. Around 30 bikes are sold in this category where Harley has five models and Hyosung has two.
