Amidst a global economic recovery, the ICI rose by 10.5 points to 146.4 in September 2009 as the confidence among retail investors, corporate investors and financial advisors on the Indian economy and investment environment strengthened.

Amidst a global economic recovery, the investment confidence index (ICI) rose by 10.5 points to 146.4 in September 2009 as the confidence among retail investors, corporate investors and financial advisors on the Indian economy and investment environment strengthened.

According to the JP Morgan Asset Management-ValueNotes Investment Confidence Index, there has been an overall rise in investor confidence.

More retail investors are now expecting a rise in their incomes and their capacity to make additional investments, it said.
