Cyrus Mistry, OP Bhatt appointed to TCS board

Software major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on Monday announced that it had appointed OP Bhatt, former chairman of SBI Group, and Cyrus Mistry, deputy chairman of Tata Sons, to the board of directors of the company. With this, the board strength has gone up to 14 directors.

The board now has seven independent directors, including Bhatt, the most recent addition. Mistry is also a director of Tata Industries Limited, Tata Power Company Limited and Tata Teleservices Limited.
