European stocks slip at open, London down 0.25 per cent
Europe's main stock markets slid at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.25 per cent at 5,308.88 points.

Europe's main stock markets slid at the start of trading on Monday, with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index down 0.25 per cent at 5,308.88 points.
Elsewhere, in Paris the CAC 40 also lost 0.25 per cent to 3,836.92 points and Frankfurt's DAX 30 eased 0.09 per cent to 5,812.11.
