The company's total income jumped by 8 per cent to Rs.4,408.65 crore for the quarter. It was Rs.4,077.57 crore in the like period a year ago.
It posted profit after tax of Rs.2,202.03 crore for the year ending March 2010, as against Rs.2,496.46 crore during the previous year.
The company's total income stood at Rs.17,873.44 crore against Rs.20,829.05 crore a year ago, a statement said.
