"I have full faith in the judicial system. I have full faith in that and whether there are changes (to the IT Act) to be made or not, it is up to the ministry. My view is this company has an extremely bright future in the internet," Bajaj told reporters on the sidelines of a function.
"We have always had a great past in IT services; I am sure everybody is convinced and committed to it... I can tell you that Bazee and ebay are committed to India."
He said Bazee has been here around for five years. "We will be around here forever.. We are going to look forward to exploding the internet and e-comemrce in this country," he said.
Bajaj said the incident has not dampened the spirit on e-commerce. "No, we look forward to moving on and creating a large internet e-commerce business in this country".
He said screening process was always on in any auction site. "But there is a technological limitation to what can be done.. If a person has malafide intent, he can always bypass a platform.. We exercise due diligence and will continue to do that", he said.
