Shares in Indian outsourcer Mahindra Satyam rose more than 11 per cent on Wednesday morning amid very high volumes.
At 11:24 a.m. (0554 GMT) Mahindra Satyam was up 9.9 per cent at 93.60 rupees while the main stock index was down 0.5 per cent.
