Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee begins his budget speech for the fiscal year 2010-11 amid speculations that he will rollback the stimulus and reign in the inflationary conditions.
This is the first budget tabled by Mukherjee as India is recovering from the global economic slowdown.
The budget being presented in the Lok Sabha is the fifth budget to be tabled by the 74-year-old minister.
