India's Satyam Computer Services Ltd has signed a deal with US-based Applied Materials Inc worth about $200 million over five years, the Indian software services exporter said on Wednesday.

Satyam said it would provide application development, maintenance and support services to Applied Materials.
Santa Clara, California-based Applied Materials is the world's top supplier of equipment for making microchips.
At 2:26 p.m. (0846 GMT), Satyam Computer shares were down 4.3 percent at 452 rupees in a Mumbai market that was down 1.6 percent.
