Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the Shine 125 Limited Edition in the Indian market. It is priced at 86,211 ex-showroom. The Limited Edition model gets only cosmetic upgrades, and there are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle.

The Shine 125 Limited Edition gets updated graphics that stay true to the motorcycle’s familiar design while giving it a slightly more polished appearance. It is available in Pearl Siren Blue and comes with pyrite brown finished alloy wheels, which add a subtle contrast to the overall look. The styling follows a clean surface approach, keeping the focus on simplicity and everyday usability rather than dramatic visual changes.

Mechanically, the Limited Edition is unchanged from the standard Shine 125 Disc. It is powered by a 123.94 cc, BS6-compliant, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that delivers roughly 10.6 hp at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The motor is paired with a five-speed gearbox and continues to offer the same smooth and efficient performance the Shine is known for. Key specifications include a kerb weight of around 113 kg, a seat height of 791 mm and a 10.5 litre fuel tank, making it well-suited for everyday commuting.

The motorcycle measures 2,046 mm in length, 741 mm in width and 1,116 mm in height. It rides on a 1,285 mm wheelbase and offers 162 mm of ground clearance, which helps with stability and ease of use in city traffic. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, set up to deliver a comfortable ride across different road conditions.

Honda Dio 125 X-Edition launched

Honda has also launched the Dio 125 X-Edition. It also gets cosmetic upgrades over the standard model. The Dio 125 X-Edition is priced at 87,733 ex-showroom.

The Dio 125 X Edition continues with the familiar 123.92 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke SI motor. This engine develops 8.1 hp at 6,500 rpm along with 10.5 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. Honda has not made any revisions to the engine calibration, gearbox setup, or claimed fuel efficiency.
