While the new GST rates on motorcycles above 350 cc came into effect on September 22, 2025, Triumph continued to sell its 400 cc lineup on our shores at the same prices, absorbing the cost of the rate hike. This was initially done by brands as a measure to capture a stronger share of the market during the festive season, considered to be the most crucial time of the year for automobile sales. Although Triumph is expected to develop a sub-350 cc engine to take advantage of lower GST rates, official information remains undisclosed.
