2 injured after bus collides with micro-van

In a collision between a Haryana roadways bus and a Tata Magic micro-van carrying passengers, two persons were left injured at the transport light point, Sector 26, on Saturday morning.

In a collision between a Haryana roadways bus and a Tata Magic micro-van carrying passengers, two persons were left injured at the transport light point, Sector 26, on Saturday morning.

Police said Suresh Kumar, hailing from Kaithal, was driving the bus number HR68-A-7891 when he hit into the micro-van (CH04-C-9587) at around 7am.

The bus was going towards Panchkula from Sector 26 Madhya Marg, while the Tata Magic micro-car was going towards Bapu Dham Colony.

Following the accident, the two passengers Kalu Ram and Ramesh of the micro-van got injured and are going treatment at Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER).

Both vehicles were impounded and a case of causing hurt due to rash and negligent driving was registered at Sector-26 police station. The bus driver was arrested and later bailed out.
