50-yr-old ends life, kin blame it to depression
A 50-year-old man allegedly hanged himself to death at his residence in Sector 34 here on Sunday. The victim, Kulbeer Singh - who was working with a private institute in Sector 34 - was found hanging from a ceiling fan by his family members, who immediately sounded police.

A 50-year-old man allegedly hanged himself to death at his residence in Sector 34 here on Sunday.
The victim, Kulbeer Singh - who was working with a private institute in Sector 34 - was found hanging from a ceiling fan by his family members, who immediately sounded police.
Police lowered the body after cutting the cloth with which Kulbeer Singh had hanged himself, and rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital in Sector 32 where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Though no suicide note was found, but family members of the victim allegedly that he was in depression, as he was often being harassed by his employers.
Police said they have yet to receive a complaint from the family members.
