A couple of thieves decamped with jewellery and ₹6 lakh cash from a marriage ceremony at Khukhrain Bhawan in Sector 35 on Friday.
The complainant, Shishu Pal Pathania, a retired administrative officer from the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Authority, said, “We were getting family pictures clicked at our son’s wedding when the photographer asked my wife, Santosh, to put the bag bearing the cash and jewellery aside to get a good photograph.
