BBMB chairman meets Badal
Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) chairman AB Agarwal on Friday met Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and apprised him of the water level in Bhakra and Pong reservoirs in the face of unprecedented inflows.

Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) chairman AB Agarwal on Friday met Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal and apprised him of the water level in Bhakra and Pong reservoirs in the face of unprecedented inflows.
He also briefed the CM about water releases from these reservoirs so that the situation remains under control. The chairman intimated the CM regarding the golden jubilee celebrations of dedication of the Bhakra dam at Nangal on October 22.
Badal was also requested to depute adequate manpower from Punjab to the BBMB.
