Bhavya Malhotra, a student of Khalsa College for Women, bagged second position in BSc biotechnology (honours) third year examination, the results of which were declared on Monday.

While Bhavya Malhotra scored 84% marks, Simranjit Kaur, Mani Arora and Kirti Sohal of the same college bagged ninth, 10th positions and 11th positions with 79.4%, 79.14% and 79.13% marks, respectively.
Bhavya said: "It is a proud moment for me as now I am a graduate with a distinction and it will certainly help me in my career ahead".
College prinicpal Varinder Kaur Thind said: "I congratulate the staff of the biotechnology department for their sincere efforts in generating good results and wish good luck to the students for the glorious feat".
