Body of 35-yr-old man recovered
The body of a 35-year-old Yamuna Nagar resident, who died in mysterious circumstance, was recovered from a hotel near Cantt bus stand on Friday.
The body of a 35-year-old Yamuna Nagar resident, who died in mysterious circumstance, was recovered from a hotel near Cantt bus stand on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Ramesh Mahendru (35).
Sources with the hotel said Ramesh had checked in at the hotel on Friday evening, however when the hotel staff didn't get any response from him, they immediately sounded the Padav police station.
A police team led by sub-inspector Ishwar Singh broke open the room no 36 of Hotel De Metropole and was found his body lying on the bed.
An empty liquor bottle and sulphas tablet was found near the bed, said sources.
However, police suspect the incident as a case of suicide.
The body was sent for autopsy at the civil hospital and his relatives were informed, police sources said.
