Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said the Centre would work shoulder-to-shoulder with the next government in Haryana to put the state on the path of progress.
Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said the Centre would work shoulder-to-shoulder with the next government in Haryana to put the state on the path of progress.
“I want to thank the people of Haryana for giving full majority to BJP. People supported us because they want the Centre and states to work in tandem.”
Parliamentary affairs minister Naidu attended the party meeting here as central observer in which Karnal MLA ML Khattar was chosen as the next chief minister.
Khattar is likely to take oath on October 26 as the next CM of Haryana, and the first BJP CM in the state.
Naidu said people had full faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and wanted to strengthen his hands.
Hitting out at the Congress, Naidu said that opposition Congress created hurdles in Parliament every time a good law was introduced. He cited this as the reason behind urging the electorate to choose a government in the state which would support the Centre.
He also expressed hope that the people will support the BJP in poll-bound Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir.
“Modi means 3D — Decisive, Development (oriented) and Dedicated. The country is moving forward under his leadership," asserted Naidu.
