CM announces incentives for scribes
Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday announced two incentives for mediapersons. Hooda, who was replying to questions of mediapersons at Meet the Press programme at Chandigarh Press Club, announced the introduction of monthly pension scheme and enhancement in insurance amount under the group insurance for accredited journalists in the state.

Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday announced two incentives for mediapersons.
Hooda, who was replying to questions of mediapersons at Meet the Press programme at Chandigarh Press Club, announced the introduction of monthly pension scheme and enhancement in insurance amount under the group insurance for accredited journalists in the state.
He said mediapersons of Haryana who were accredited for the past 20 years and were above 60 would get a monthly pension of Rs 5,000.
Also, under the group insurance scheme being implemented for accredited journalists, the insurance amount would be doubled from Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh.
He also announced to give Rs 31 lakh to the Press Club.
