Cold winds blow across tricity, temprature climbs up

Cold north-westerly winds continued to blow on Saturday in the tricity, which experienced cloudy sky. Breeze blew at 7-10 kmph since early morning hours even as occasional drizzle was witnessed in some areas.

Cold north-westerly winds continued to blow on Saturday in the tricity, which experienced cloudy sky. Breeze blew at 7-10 kmph since early morning hours even as occasional drizzle was witnessed in some areas.

The maximum temperature climbed up to 20.3 degrees Celsius, thanks to sunshine recorded in the city for the past couple of days. The temperature recorded on Saturday was a notch lower than normal while the minimum was 8.1 degrees, 3 notches above normal.

The meteorological department predicted mainly clear sky for Sunday, though there would be mist or shallow fog during night and morning hours.

The weathermen said the coming days would be sunny and weather conditions would start improving henceforth.
