Delegation from city meets union health minister
A delegation led by former president of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Chandigarh branch, Harminder Singh met union health and family welfare minister Harsh Vardhan at his office in Delhi on Friday. Others in the delegation include Alka Sehgal, AP Sanwaria, AK Kaushal, who had gone to discuss the Clinical Establishment Act.

Others in the delegation include Alka Sehgal, AP Sanwaria, AK Kaushal, who had gone to discuss the Clinical Establishment Act.
A statement issued in Chandigarh stated that the minister gave an assurance to address the matter at national level. The minister assured the delegates that their representation for delay in implementing the act in UT, till possible changes in the act were finalized, would be taken up at respective levels by the ministry.
The delegation also gave representation to IMA for reviewing the implementation of the Act in the present form.
