"The Air India flight IC-822, which was scheduled to take off in the afternoon at 3:45pm from Jammu airport, was grounded due to fuel leakage," Mr Sanjeev Mishri station manager (SM) told UNI.

Mr Mishri said that there were 150 passengers in the flight, adding "the problem was noticed by the engineers following which the flight was grounded."

He said the required gadgets to repair the snag would be available by tomorrow morning and the passengers would leave for Delhi at 9pm.

"All the passengers have been lodged in the hotels and asked to report at the airport early morning tomorrow," the SM added.
