Dera followers protest against pvt TV channel
Dera Sacha Sauda followers on Tuesday proteted against alleged inappropriate portrayal of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a television show ‘Jashn-E-Ummeed’ telecast on ZEE TV.

Dera Sacha Sauda followers on Tuesday proteted against alleged inappropriate portrayal of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a television show ‘Jashn-E-Ummeed’ telecast on ZEE TV.
They also demanded the arrest of all those responsible for the show, including its two hosts Gaurav Gera and Ali Asgar, under the Indian Penal Code for hurting religious sentiments.
The Dera followers gathered at the mini-secretariat and protested against the Bollywood actors who had allegedly mocked the Dera chief in an ‘inappropriate’ way in the TV show on 27 December.
