Four thefts reported in city
In the first incident, Sanjay, a resident of Phase 2, Ramdarbar, alleged that Ashwani and Deepak, both residents of the same area, stole two mobilephones on November 4 after entering his house. Police arrested the accused and recovered the mobiles from their possession.
The mobile, LPG cylinder and motor vehicle thefts were reported from across the city.

In a separate incident, Lakhwinder Singh hailing from Sri Ganganagar, reported that unidentified persons stole his motorcycle (RJ-13-5F-4592) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) parking.
Ashwani Kumar of Sector-46-D reported that some unidentified persons stole an LPG cylinder from his house on November 4.
Anant Ram of Phase 1, Ramdarbar, reported that someone stole his activa scooter (CH-04E-5226) from a park in sector-40.
Police have registered separate cases of theft in all incidents under sections 379 and 380 of Indian Penal Code.
