Hooda announces grant for health workers

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday announced an additional allowance of Rs 400 per month to multi-purpose health workers and supervisors in the state.

Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Friday announced an additional allowance of Rs 400 per month to multi-purpose health workers and supervisors in the state.

According to an official spokesperson, the state government will grant washing or uniform allowance of Rs 400 per month to male Multi Purpose Health Worker and Multipurpose Health Supervisor.

There are 2,544 sanctioned post of MPHW and 590 of MPHS in health department. This decision will benefit these officials to the tune of about Rs 1.5 crore per annum, he said.
