"The members of the organisation express their deep anguish over the sudden fire that broke out in the holy shrine of Dastageer Sahib in Srinagar", state ABGM president Eshfaq Ur Rehman Poswal told reporters in Jammu on Tuesday.

"It is a great loss to the people in general and to the Muslims in particular and everybody is in deep sorrow and pain over the incident in J&K", he said.

He wanted an independent enquiry to be carried out by the CBI so that all the facts may be sorted out without any bias or prejudice.
