JK cabinet approves second stage of Baglihar project
Jammu and Kashmir cabinet has approved implementation of Stage-II of Baglihar hydroelectric project.

Jammu and Kashmir cabinet has approved implementation of Stage-II of Baglihar hydroelectric project.
The state cabinet meeting presided over by chief minister Omar Abdullah gave its nod to implementation of the Baglihar project and also creation of planning cell in Ladakh Affairs Department on Friday, a statement said.
It also approved establishment of a directorate of local fund audit & pensions, amendment in Jammu and Kashmir State Non-Biodegradable Bill, 2012, Jammu and Kashmir Residential and Commercial Tenancy Bill, 2012, Jammu and Kashmir Nursing Council Bill, 2012, and Use of Forest land for Non-Forestry Bill.
