The department will also open a campaign to educate people about quality milk. Eight mobile units will collect and test fodder and samples of milk, animal husbandry and dairy development minister Gulzar Singh Ranike has said.
"Order is out to organise surprise camps to examine milk samples for quality and adulteration," Ranike said here on Sunday. "Experts from the department will also release test reports to consumers."
The mobile laboratories were adequate for the testing of milk, said the minister, adding that these will also be able to examine the quality of fodder.
