Minor raped in Pinjore
Police on Monday booked a 50-year-old man for raping an eight-year-old girl in Pinjore on Sunday evening. The accused Mohamad Javed allegedly lured the girl to his hut and raped her.

Police on Monday booked a 50-year-old man for raping an eight-year-old girl in Pinjore on Sunday evening. The accused Mohamad Javed allegedly lured the girl to his hut and raped her.
The incident came to light when girl’s parents took her to General Hospital, Sector 6, after she fell unconscious. The accused and the victim used to live in Bhagwanpura colony.
Doctors confirmed sexual assault, after which parents reported the matter to the police. In her statement to police, girl accused Javed of raping her.
Pinjore police station SHO inspector Lalit Kumar said the police have booked UP resident Javed under the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
