Public holiday in Punjab on July 3

The Punjab government has declared a public holiday on July 3 to enable employees to exercise their franchise in the panchayat elections.

The Punjab government has declared a public holiday on July 3 to enable employees to exercise their franchise in the panchayat elections.

The holiday has been declared under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act in all state government offices, boards, corporations and educational institutions located in Punjab and Chandigarh.
