PUSU condemns Sarabjit's death; burn Pak flag
Members of Panjab University Student Union burnt the national flag of Pakistan and also burnt the effigy of Pakistan government in protest against the death of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh on Thursday. PUSU members said, “We strongly condemn the irresponsible act of Pakistan government.”

President Yadwinder Singh and chairman Baljeet Choudhary said that all the problem happened because of lack of interference by the Indian government in the case of Sarbjit Singh.
Students criticised the Indian government and said that this act displayed the governments irresponsible behaviour towards the citizens of the country.
Chief patron Harjit Singh, Gary Maur, campus incharge Guri Dhaliwal, Ishaan Rattan, party incharge Sukhjot Singh, vice-president Shivdeep Singh and other senior leaders Ravinder Dhaliwal and Mandeep Jawanda were also present.
