Rape victim, accused enter scuffle at court

High drama was witnessed at the district courts in Sector 43 after a rape accused allegedly made obscene gestures, misbehaved and even slapped the victim on Wednesday.

The accused, Vikas Sethi, was summoned by the court for allegedly sexually assaulting the woman.

Both Sethi and the victim were waiting for being called out, when they entered into an argument, after the victim alleged that Sethi made obscene gestures and used abusive language. She even accused him of slapping her.

Sector 43 police post incharge Sher Singh said, “Though no case has been registered, we received counter complaints from both sides accusing each other of argument and misbehaviour.”
