
Research paper writing workshop begins at PGI
A six-day national workshop on research paper writing organised by Post - Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research’s ( PGIMER) school of public health will begin here on Monday.
The workshop will reportedly be attended by par ticipants from across the country and will enable participants to identify research question, effectively write methods and results and make relevant interpretations in tobacco control research.
The course will thus empower researchers in skills of scientific writing and develop confidence in them to write further scientific papers.
During the workshop, a data set of Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) will be provided to participants. They will then identify relevant policy-oriented research question from the data set and draft a research paper during the workshop.
