'SAD to contest municipal elections on party symbol'

In a statement released from the party head office here on Sunday, the SAD secretary and spokesman Dr Daljit Singh Cheema said the party candidates will use the party symbol 'scales' in the ensuing municipal corporation, municipal committee and nagar panchayat elections.

He further said SAD party president Sukhbir Singh Badal has directed all the district observers of the party to ensure that the candidates of the party contesting these elections use the party symbol.

Letter of authority have been prepared in the party head office and will be delivered to the party observers without any delay, he added.
