Schools in Punjab to open at 9am from Tuesday

Punjab Government education department has notified the new time in all government, private aided and recognized schools in the state that would be applicable from 1st October, 2014.

According to an official spokesman that new timings of the primary schools would be 9 am to 3 pm whereas for other schools it would be 9 am to 3:20pm.

Instructions in this regard have been issued to all wings of education department for strict compliance.
