Sidhu to head PCA Technical-cum-Coaching Committee
Former Test cricketer and member of parliament Navjot Singh Sidhu has been named chairman of the Technical and Coaching Committee of the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA).

It was decided by the PCA executive committee in its first meeting held at PCA Cricket Stadium.
Various sub-committee were also formed for effective running of cricketing affairs.
Sidhu who had played all his cricket for Punjab would be a great inspiration and motivation for overseeing the technical and coaching aspects of the association. He has Chaman Lal Malhotra and Vinod Sharma former captains of Punjab to assist him.
According to Sushil Kapoor spokesperson PCA, Chaman Lal Malhotra was nominated chairman of senior and Under-25 selection while Pankaj Dharmani chairman of selection committee Junior for U-14,U-16 and U-19.
Punjab has to play four home Ranji Trophy matches and the decision about the venue will be taken after consultation with the cricket manager and coaches.
