Six officials of Patiala improvement trust suspended

Punjab local bodies minister Anil Joshi on Wednesday suspended six officials of Patiala improvement trust for dereliction of duty. An official spokesperson said that the officials were suspended following their role in an extension scheme near Baba Zorawar Singh Park.

An official spokesperson said that the officials were suspended following their role in an extension scheme near Baba Zorawar Singh Park here. They have also been charged with foul play for misplacing and tampering with official record, besides, delay in announcing the award.

The suspended officials include- executive officer Gore Lal; the then additional executive officer (Now at Nabha) Rajesh Chaudhary; town planner Amarpreet Kaur; superintendent Basant Singh; clerk Sanjay and former senior assistant Jagdeep Singh (now superintendent at Nabha).
