Students design 'economical' car

Five BTech final-year students of local Prannath Parnami Institute of Management and Technology (PPIMT) claimed to have designed a new car, which gives mileage of 35 km in 1 litre fuel. It took 45 days to make the car and they spent `55,000 for this four-seater contraption.

The students who designed the car are Pawan Rao, Amit Kumar, Sandeep Singhmar, Ravinder Kathuria and Ravi. Nitin Kathuria, director general of the institute, congratulated the students and encouraged them to improve the model.
