The senate also criticised the vice-chancellor for constructing multipurpose hall worth Rs 55 crore in the campus, rather than concentrating into academics related issues and research, which has deteriorated.

The senate further suggested to follow legal course of action against Punjab government for not giving the complete grant to varsity.
