Sukhbir OSD, political secy appointed

The Punjab government on Monday appointed Charanjit Singh Brar as officer on special duty (OSD) to deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal and Paramjit Singh Sidhwan as latter's political secretary.

The general administration department notification issued on Monday stated that Brar and Sidhwan had appointed against political posts. These appointments are co-terminus with the term of the present government or till the government pleases otherwise, whichever is earlier.

The deputy CM, who is also president of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SA), had appointed Brar and Sidhwan office secretaries of his party recently.
