
Two HP cricketers selected for U-23 national camp
Two Himachal cricketers, Nikhil Gangta and Prashant Chopra, have been selected for the Emerging Under- 23 players national camp to be held in June.
Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) spokesman said, “Gangta, a right-hand batsman and Ranji player, is first from the state to score unbeaten 200 at national level. While Chopra was a part of the World Cup winning Under-19 team in 2012 and has been consistent at the junior and first-class cricket.”
Meanwhile HPCA president Anurag Thakur in a press statement said, “It is always a pleasure to see such potential players. At HPCA, it is our continuous effort to provide world class infrastructure and facilities to our players so that they can excel in their game and create a distinct identity for themselves.”
