UT advisor KK Sharma transferred

The ministry of home affairs (MHA) has transferred UT adviser KK Sharma as additional secretary, ministry of urban development.

The ministry of home affairs (MHA) has transferred UT adviser KK Sharma as additional secretary, ministry of urban development.


KK Sharma, a 1983-batch IAS officer and a civil engineer by qualification, had taken over the post of UT adviser on April 15, 2011.

His term expired on April and was given extension. He will be relieved after Diwali.

Vijay Kumar Dev, a senior Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram-Union Territories (AGMUT) IAS officer, will replace KK Sharma as the adviser of Chandigarh administration.

Vijay Kumar Dev, a 1987-batch officer, is presently holding the position of Delhi chief electoral officer since October 2012.
