Chandigarh: Now, pay property registration fees at sampark centres
Located around Chandigarh, 22 of the sampark centres remain open from Sunday to Friday, while the remaining 23 are open from Monday to Saturday
In a bid to reduce long waiting time at the Estate Office to pay property registration related fees, the UT administration has introduced the service at the city’s 45 Sampark Centres.

Located around the city, 22 of these centres remain open from Sunday to Friday, while the remaining 23 are open from Monday to Saturday.
Hence, residents can avail of the service at the nearest Sampark Centre. A facilitation charge of ₹40 (exclusive of taxes) will be levied per transaction.
The facility, introduced by the UT department of information technology, Chandigarh administration in collaboration with Stock Holding Corporation of India Limited, was launched by UT IT director Rupesh Kumar on Wednesday.
The first two residents to avail of the service were Anurag Garg and Arpit Taneja.
“Under the guidance of the UT adviser, we are committed to providing citizens with services that simplify their lives. The launch of e-registration through Sampark Centres is a step towards achieving this goal. The IT department has plans to further expand the services offered at these centres,” said Kumar.
Sampark centres’ schedule
The Sunday to Friday schedule is being followed at the centres located in Sectors 7, 10, 18, 23, 27, 34, 35, 37, 40, 45 and 48, Manimajra, Daria, Dadumajra, Behlana, Dhanas (Panchayat Bhawan), Kaimbwala, Khuda Ali Sher, Khuda Jassu, Raipur Khurd, Maloya and Vikas Nagar.
The remaining centres located at Sectors 1, 12, 15, 17 (DC office), 17 (Treasury), 20, 21, 22, 26, 32, 38, 39, 41, 43, 43 (District Court) and 47, Industrial Area, Phase 1, Hallomajra, Makhanmajra, Raipur Kalan, Sarangpur, Dhanas (Community Centre) and Dadumajra Colony (Community Centre ) remain operational from Monday to Saturday.
