Charanjit Brar is political secretary to SAD chief Sukhbir Badal

Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday appointed party leader Charanjit Singh Brar as his political secretary and also assigned him the role of party’s spokesperson and media coordinator.

Badal also appointed general secretary Parambans Singh Romana as coordinator of social media for party’s coverage, publicity and image building and has also been asked to coordinate with the party’s youth wing for day-to-day activities. (AFP file photo)

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday appointed party leader Charanjit Singh Brar as his political secretary and also assigned him the role of party’s spokesperson and media coordinator.

The party president also appointed general secretary Parambans Singh Romana as coordinator of social media for party’s coverage, publicity and image building and has also been asked to coordinate with the party’s youth wing for day-to-day activities.

Gurpreet Singh Raju Khanna, who is also a general secretary, has been given the responsibility as coordinator of party’s students body – the Students Organisation of India – and Arshdeep Singh Kler has been appointed as president of party’s legal wing.

In another announcement, Nachhatar Singh Gill has been appointed as party’s information technology wing in-charge.
