Haryana: At 406 AQI Bhiwani’s air worst in the country

Several cities in Haryana recorded “poor” air quality: Rohtak (274), Panchkula (254), Karnal (235), Jind (222), Gurugram (210), Yamunanagar (210) and Charkhi Dadri (209).

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the AQI in the industrial town was ranked under “severe” at 406.

Places from Haryana in ‘very poor’ category are -- Bhallabgarh (320), Sonepat (317) and Fatehabad (309)

The index, which is an average of the past 24 hours, showed that the national capital Delhi’s AQI was in the “poor” category at 218.
