Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) alumnus Vishawjeet has brought laurels to the university by securing All India Rank (AIR) 5 in the assistant director grade-1 examination of the Indian enterprise development service (IEDS), conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Vishawjeet completed his bachelor of technology in food technology from the department of food science and technology, (PAU) during the 2014–19 batch. He was also an Indian council of agricultural research scholar throughout his undergraduate studies. Further strengthening his academic credentials, he pursued an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and an MSc in Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics.
The head of the department, Baljit Singh, congratulated Vishawjeet on his outstanding achievement and expressed confidence that he would attain greater milestones in his professional journey. He remarked that the UPSC IEDS examination is highly prestigious and demands unwavering commitment and determination from aspirants.
